Intake Nurse - Full Time

Per Diem Nurse

Duties:

1. Responsible for skilled nursing services and treatments prescribed by the physician for the patient.
2. Demonstrate nursing care to the patients and family.
3. Observe, evaluate, record and report to the physician the patient's physical and emotional condition, drug reactions.
4. Responsible for the renewal of orders as indicated.
5. Participate in the agency on-call rotation.
6. Provide accurate and timely documentation as required by the agency.
7. Time sheets are done and submitted accurately and in a timely manner per agency policy and procedure.
8. Assume additional responsibilities as requested.

Knowledge/skills/experience Requirements:

• State Registration: Current N.H. State Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Access to operable, required amount insured motor vehicle and a valid N.H. driver's license with acceptable record of safe driving practices.
• Willing to drive own automobile unlimited miles and in all types of weather conditions.
• Possess a current malpractice policy.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with or without the use of interpretive devices.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and follow verbal and written instructions
