Pemi-Baker Home Health & Hospice offers a 14 hour Hospice training program to interested citizens. It is offered one evening per week for 7 weeks. Instructors from the community discuss subjects such as Communication Skills with Patient and Family and the Role of the Hospice volunteer. The role of the volunteer is to work with the patient and family to make their final weeks of life as comfortable as possible. The training program is free of charge to the volunteer.
