Kara B. Hamill PT, G.C.S. - Rehab Director

Kara graduated from Russell Sage College with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy in 1993. She continued with her educational growth with a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo in 1997 and became Board Certified in Geriatric Physical Therapy in 1999. She moved to New Hampshire in 2007 after practicing physical therapy at level II trama center in Eastern Maine for five year. Kara was the manager of Partners in Rehab in West Seneca New York where she developed a small physical therapy center into an outpatient rehab center with physical, occupation, and speech language and pathologist serving medically complex patients as well as orthopedic patients. She has received multiple awards for her clinical expertise and managing complex patients therapeutic needs. She is active family. Her husband and their five children’s strives to participate in outdoor activities throughout the year.

Leesa Conway, PT
Leesa graduated from Springfield College with a Masters Degree of Physical Therapy in 1998. Over the past 10 years she has pursued ongoing education in manual therapy techniques, exercise and biomechanics. Leesa has experience in a variety of settings including, hospitals, private practice clinics specializing in myofascial release and home health. She is a registered yoga teacher.
Leesa has recently relocated to New Hampshire from Massachusetts where she is excited to be able to continue rock climbing, hiking and yoga.
Dee Dee Monahan, PTA
Dee Dee is a native of Northern, NH and moved to the Lakes Region area in 2001. She resides in Bristol, NH with her husband, Mark and her stepson Mark Jr.
Dee Dee graduated from Hesser College in 2007 with an Associate’s Degree as a physical therapist assistant. She has experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities, therapeutic exercises and manual therapies. Dee Dee comes to Pemi-Baker with a background and love of aquatic therapy.
Dee Dee enjoys kayaking, biking and walking with her family in the beautiful Lakes Region.
Paula Boutin, PTA
Paula graduated from NH Technical College in Claremont, NH with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy in 1986. She worked as a PTA at Speare Memorial Hospital from 1986-1996.
Paula has worked as a homecare PTA for over six years and comes to Pemi-Baker with experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities, therapeutic exercises and manual therapies. Paula has a true love for homecare and the community…and is glad to be back!
Paula enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors-biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and camping. At home she enjoys gardening and keeping busy around the house – and when there is time – just relaxing on the front porch.
Pamela R. Hixon – Occupational Therapist
Pam grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelors in Occupational Therapy in 1993. She is physical agent modality certified. Pam has worked in acute rehab, skilled nursing facilities, homecare and outpatient OT in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.
Pam moved to the Lakes Region in 2005. She is married with 2 wonderful children. She and her family spend their free time boating. Pam enjoys gardening, home improvement and skiing.
Danielle Cooper – Aquatic Specialist
Behind an unforgettable smile and unlimited enthusiasm you will find Pemi's newest team member. Danielle comes to Pemi-Baker as a 2010 graduate of Plymouth State University where she earned scholarship honors for her commitment to wellness, complimentary education and injury prevention.
Using her BS in Physical Education she will pair with the Center's Physical and Occupational therapists in the pool to enhance individual patient recovery.
Her aquatics classes have a kicked-up edge to maximize personal performance. She has certifications in Pool and Safety, CPR & AED and continues to receive certifications which she plans to use to design and implement high energy programs and events at Pemi-Baker with a focus on fitness for the entire spectrum of ages and physical activity levels.
Danielle enjoys anything that involves trying new activities and being active. She enjoys playing and watching all varieties of sports, relaxing at the beach, attending country concerts and spending time with family and friends.
